You can further break these companies down into local, regional, and national companies. Having a company that is local and does all four activities is obviously the best scenario. It provides the client with single source accountability. It reduces communication errors and increases efficiency and reaction time. If there is a problem with your system, you will not be frustrated by third parties passing the blame for your problems back and forth between each other, If you are monitored hundreds of miles away, you also face increased risk of telephone line problems. It is also our opinion that large national central stations simply cannot deliver the level of customer service to alarm dealers and alarm owners that a smaller local station can.
